ill update then.
lucien is now pretending.i was checking my livejournal and i hear this lipsmacking eating noise. i think lucien found something and is eating it. nope. hes got his little people dinosaur toy, which has a bucket of dino-food and is feeding his dinosaur and making the noise. he was also feeding the cow and himself.
and he loves peekaboo. he even says "boo." hes got the timing down and everything.
he knows his belly, penis (that was the first one he learned) ears, nose, eyeballs, feet, mouth.
he does the signs for please, food/eat, more (which is eat with two hands into his mouth, we are working on that).
he can make the sounds for cat, dog, duck, sheep, cow, snake, bear/dinosaur/lion. horse and monkey we are working on.
he's in that super helpful stage and likes to put clothes in the dryer and help feed the dogs.
we got him a hockey stick a few months ago and he loves playing hockey.
he can say - no, hockey, daddy, mama (kinda) doggy, kitty, and loves to run around saying beeka-beeka-beeka
hes still nursing, we just started transitioning him to his crib and have started TTC #2.
My daughter knows most of her body parts, too. Sometimes she pokes me in my eye when she's telling me what the parts of my face are. I didn't do any sign language with her, but I wish I had. It's so hard to find time!
Allison is a helper, too. Sometimes she gets things out just so she can put them away.
She is still nursing, too! Down to about 3-5 times a day, though.
